Select the outer endpoint at the lower left of the building as shown d. Go to Massing & Site > Model Site Panel > Building Pad b. In the rename view dialog box, enter To Building and click OK. In the project browser, expand 3D views, right click 3D view 1 & Rename 4. Drag the blue circular controls that display on the crop region of the resulting view so that you can see the building. Click in the upper right corner of the drawing area to place camera. Go to View > Create > 3D View drop down > Camera b. In Project Browser, under floor plans, double click 02 Entry Level 2. On Ribbon, click Modify to exit command 13. Select the right endpoint of the north wall to complete the chain and connect the walls 12. Move the cursor up, and select the intersection with extension of the north wall f. Move the cursor to the right, enter 3150mm and press enter e. Move the cursor up, enter 1500mm and press enter d. Move the cursor to the right, enter 1950mm and press enter c. In the drawing area ,click right endpoint of the south wall as the wall start point b. In Type selector, select Basic Wall : Foundation -300 mm concrete 10. In the project browser under floor plans double click on 01 Lower Level 8. Move the cursor to the right, enter 12000 mm and enter 6. Beginning at the new endpoint move the cursor up, enter 6900 and press enter d. Move the cursor to the left, enter 12000 mm and press enter c. Click in the lower right quadrant to select wall start point b. In the drawing area, draw walls on the foundation level a. On the option bar set the values as per below: a. In properties palette, go to type selector and select Basic Wall: Retaining-300 mm Concrete. In the project browser, under floor plans double click 00 Foundation to activate a view. Double click the level dimensions and enter new values as per below: a. Rename the new levels and corresponding views to: a. On Ribbon click Modify to exit a command 9. ![]() Repeat step no 5 to add one more level 8. In the drawing area, highlight the 01 Lower Level line, when dashed line is displayed above the level line, click to create a level. On the option bar click on plan view types types, select floor & ceiling plan 6|. On the option bar enter 3000 mm for the offset. Repeat step 1 & 2, rename level 2 and it’s corresponding views to 01 Lower Level 5| Create Levels 1. The floor and ceiling plans are now renamed to 00 Foundation 3. In the alert dialog box, click Yes to rename corresponding views. Double click on the level 1, enter 00 Foundation, and press enter. In the drawing area, move the cursor diagonally and click to draw a rectangle around the level markers. Note that cursor changes to a magnifying glass. For file name, enter ““Revit 2017_Basic Project” and click Save 3| Zoom to a View 1. In the left pane of Save as dialog box, click DESKTOP, and then upper right corner of the dialog box, create new folder named “ Training Files” Files 3. Go to Application plication menu > Save 2. ![]() Go to C:\ProgramData ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2017\Templates\US Metric\DefaultMetric.rte DefaultMetric.rte is selected and click open 6. In the New Project dialog box, under Create New, verify that Project is selected. Go to Application menu > New > Project 3.
